Work is sloooooow. I’m getting time and a half but they just emailed me and told me I can log off an hour early. So it almost cancels out. But that’s fine by me! That gives me an extra hour to get some stuff done before Princess comes home.

Yes, I said “get stuff done”. I have more motivation and energy today. Yay me! And that’s even without coffee. (I ran out of Splenda and I refuse to use regular sugar.)

So all of that motivating self-talk I tried to give myself while lying like a blob on my couch has finally kicked in. I even managed to build a time machine in my kitchen and traveled back in time to give Hitler a puppy and thereby averted that whole Third Reich catastrophe.

Not really. I was just checking to see if you were really reading. And Jason@Gorilla Sushi made me say it.

But I did manage to get a blog layout set up this morning. Check it out at Jeanne’s Ramblings. I think it turned out really cute if I do say so myself. And I just did.

Only one more hour of work and then a shower, start the dishwasher, fold some clothes, play around do some work on the computer and by then it should be time for Princess to get here.
