A few early thoughts for 2009
Hey, if this is your first time here, subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I wanted to throw out a quick post before I go to bed and put 2008 to rest. Kelly McCausey had kind of an impromptu chat party in her conference room so I got to hang out with some wonderful Work at Home Moms tonight discussing our goals, our projects, our thoughts on everything from paid blogging to Twitter. I walked away from it with some new friends, a lot of insights and even some guest blogging and volunteer opportunities.
During a conversation about the whole “WAHM as a target market” thing, I shared this thought: one of my favorite things about hanging out with other work at home moms (or wannabe WAHMs) is watching them grow, hearing their good news and, most of all, watching another Mom explore her options…and then that moment when something clicks for them.
So to all of you struggling work at home moms (I’m one of them!) or moms who want to work at home, I hope that of all the things that happen to you this coming year, finding your passion and making a living out of it is one of them. (And I mean it when I say that if there is anything I can do to help, even if its just sending you some links to legit work at home opportunities, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Leave a comment, find me on Twitter @apriltara or email me at thatcrazymom@gmail.com.)
Have a happy, healthy, prosperous 2009. And thank you all for sharing 2008 with me.
