I’ve been seeing a lot of signs lately that I need to change the tone of my blog to something that suits me better, that is a more accurate representation of who I am. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Instead of trying to fit into the “Mommy Blogger” mold - I can not even begin to tell you how much I have come to despise that label - I am just going to be Me.So if you’re offended by F-bombs, non-conformity, and blunt opinions, you might want to go unsubscribe.
I have to hold back in so many other areas of my life but my blog was supposed to be one of the few places I can be Myself. And unless I give Myself some room to express…um….Myself I’m just going to blend into the “Mommy Bloggers” woodwork.
Speaking of which, I earned a Kick Ass Blogger Award from Mamma Dawg. Another post about that later. In the meantime, check out my bling.

Sweet! There’s kind of a mommy-blogger wasteland out there and it would have been a shame to see you slip into it. I always prefer non-conformist blogs anyway!

Hey, I hear ya. I tried keeping personal stuff out of my blog for a while, but it held me back from doing what I started my blog for - expressing myself and what I was holding in that was making me feel like a crazy mom. So many moms are ashamed to admit certain things about being a woman and a mom, and it’s a shame, because then so many moms feel alone in their feelings and beliefs. I think it’s important to be honest and sometimes it’s brutal. I’ll keep reading.
